Children learn most effectively from fun, first hand experiences
that capture their imagination and ignite curiosity. Our
practitioners learn what interests each child. Considering this
and their developmental goals, fun activities are planned to
engage and challenge. We prompt learning with open-ended
questions - encouraging children to be curious, explore their
imaginations, experiment and learn from mistakes - developing
critical thinking, resilience, creativity and confidence.
Through enjoyment, play and socialising with others, and a
calm, relaxed approach, we encourage the emotional and
social connections needed to be confident and self-reliant.
‘Children arrive happy and are eager
to attend the nursery. Staff are friendly
and offer a wide range of activities that
ignite children’s interest and curiosity.
Stimulating learning opportunities build
on children’s interests, development
needs and what they need to learn next’.
